About PSSI-PSC

The Plasma Scholars’ Colloquium (PSC) was initiated in 2012 by the Plasma Science Society of India (PSSI) following a visionary recommendation at the PSSI General Body Meeting. Designed as a dedicated platform for students, research scholars, and post-doctoral fellows, PSC aims to nurture emerging talent in plasma and fusion science and technology by enhancing scientific communication, fostering peer interaction, and cultivating a vibrant research community. Over the years, PSC has evolved into a prestigious annual tradition, recognized for its commitment to academic excellence and intellectual rigor. It serves as a unique incubator for undergraduate and postgraduate students, early-career researchers, and postdocs, offering them an exclusive opportunity to present their work through student-led oral and poster sessions.

The colloquium also features inspiring keynote addresses and expert talks by some of the nation’s most distinguished plasma scientists, who share their insights into cutting edge research and emerging trends. These interactions ignite collaborative thinking and open new avenues for exploration in plasma science.

In 2025, the Plasma Scholars’ Colloquium will be proudly hosted at the IPS Academy, Centre for Scientific and Applied Research, Indore, India. This year’s event promises to continue PSC’s legacy of excellence providing a dynamic forum for rigorous scientific discourse, meaningful collaborations, and the advancement of plasma science and technology in India and beyond. Join us as we shape the future of plasma research, one scholar at a time.
