The Centre for Scientific and Applied Research (CSAR) at IPS Academy Group, established in 2021, stands as a dynamic cross-disciplinary research institute dedicated to driving innovation and societal progress. CSAR’s core mission is to foster groundbreaking knowledge creation, support innovation, and bridge the gap between academic research and practical, real-world applications, reinforcing our institution’s role as a catalyst for both academic excellence and impactful solutions. CSAR research in plasma physics focuses on developing, and transferring plasma-based technologies to industries, enabling technology commercialization, including DC, RF, and Microwave discharges. The group is actively involved in nuclear fusion research where world-leading experts are working towards the development and diagnostics of negative ion sources for neutral beam plasma heating. This laboratory is well-equipped with modern facilities for plasma production, and diagnostics including electrical, optical, and microwave.
